How To Prevent Mould
To prevent mould build-up, it’s important to keep your home clean and free of clutter. Wipe down surfaces regularly, especially in damp areas like the bathroom or kitchen. Use an exhaust fan when cooking or showering to help ventilate the space. Additionally, try to keep the humidity level in your home below 60% to discourage mould growth. If you do find mould growing somewhere in your home, clean it up immediately with a bleach solution or mould removal product.
Our team can remove all mould rapidly–even in hard-to-reach areas. To arrange a service, don’t hesitate to contact us today.

FAQs
Everything You Need To Know
What is mould and why does it grow indoors?
Mould is a type of fungus that grows in damp, humid environments where moisture is present. Indoors, mould commonly develops due to water leaks, flooding, condensation, poor ventilation or high humidity. Areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, ceilings, walls and under floors are especially prone to mould growth. Once moisture is present, mould spores in the air can settle and begin growing within 24–48 hours.
Is mould dangerous to health?
Mould can pose health risks, particularly for people with allergies, asthma, respiratory conditions, weakened immune systems, infants and the elderly. Exposure to mould may cause symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, wheezing, eye irritation, headaches, skin rashes and nasal congestion. Prolonged exposure to certain types of mould can worsen respiratory conditions and lead to ongoing health issues.
What causes mould to keep coming back?
Mould commonly returns when the underlying moisture problem is not resolved. Simply cleaning visible mould without addressing leaks, condensation, humidity or poor airflow allows spores to regrow. Common causes of recurring mould include roof leaks, plumbing issues, rising damp, inadequate ventilation and high indoor humidity levels.
